Effective August 9, 2026. Quiet Field is a personal project. It has no accounts, forms, advertising, or sale of personal information. This notice explains the limited information used when you visit.

Google Analytics

Quiet Field uses Google Analytics to understand broad patterns such as which pages are visited and what kinds of devices access the site. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies, including _ga cookies, and receive information such as the page and referring site, browser and device details, general interaction data, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.

This information is used to assess and improve the site, not for advertising or cross-site profiling. It is processed by Google under its privacy policy and retained according to the Analytics property’s retention settings. You can block or remove Analytics cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Information kept on your device

The meditation timer uses your browser’s local storage to remember your chosen duration, sound, and volume settings. If a meditation is interrupted, it also stores its timing and status so you may restore it. The app does not transmit these values. They remain until you clear the site’s browser data; completed or discarded session details are removed automatically.

Hosting

Quiet Field is hosted by Amazon Web Services. Like any web host, AWS receives technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser identifier, requested page, and request time. AWS handles that information under its privacy notice.

External links

Links to quotation sources, credits, Ko-fi, and other websites take you away from Quiet Field. Those services receive your request and apply their own privacy practices.

Your choices and rights

You can disable cookies, clear Quiet Field’s cookies and local storage, or use the Google opt-out tool at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information.

For a privacy question or request, use the contact details on the maker’s website. This notice may be updated if Quiet Field’s practices change; the effective date above will be revised.
